From Ashes We Gather
We've partnered with our friends from Altadena Photographers and Cornerstone Theater Company to host a performance for the closing of Gayle Nicholls-Ali's exhibition of photographs at Dena Heals. Gayle's portraits of fire survivors are an archive of resilience, and together with our dear collaborators at Cornerstone -- we've created an in- process script from recorded interviews with each of the photographed community members.
There will be food to share (courtesy of Thrivance Group and With Love Catering), and opportunities to collaborate if you feel called to the mic. Come meet some incredible fire-impacted artists and share space with the stories we've been stewarding.
